What does this sound like?

I keep getting a cycle of contractions that goes something like this:
3 or so about 30 minutes apart
3 or so about 20 minutes apart
3 or so about 10 minutes apart
3 or so about 20 minutes apart
3 or so about 30 minutes apart
Repeats

Its gone on ALL DAY. I've had mucusy discharge. NOt really what I'd expect to see to claim mucus plug, but it certainly has that consistency from what I remember with DD1. Basically every time I think about calling the midwife, the contractions start spacing back out and not worth calling over. I've also been doing evening primrose oil in the morning (oral) and at night (vaginal) at my midwife's direction. When I was doing the night time dose, my cervix is changing, but that's as far as I can tell. I'm not exactly in the business of trying to figure it out at 39-ish weeks pregnant since getting the pills in and near my cervix is a chore!

Personally I think you are on your way. I bet the contractions begin to get more regular and stay closer together eventually. Stick with it mama.

I stayed in this pattern for 3 days before my water broke. I bet you're getting close.
