I'm looking for a cover or something for my iPod or iPhone... my iPod is a 1st gen Nano that has all my hypnobabies on it.... and I used it during laboring in tub with Alexa and I'm so lucky I didn't drown it. And cuz its so old, if I can't find a cover - I would transfer my HB to my iPhone 4 and get a good case for it. I looked at Amazon, but curious what others who listen to Hynobabies through headphones do... if anything.

Thanks <3

For my clients, I usually put my phone/their phone/ipod in a cup to amplify the sound. I suggest an otterbox cover.

I have an Otterbox... Are you talking about having it float in the water? Using headphones?

Oh no. Don't take it in the water, just beside the birth pool. Is there a particular reason you NEED headphones, because I don't foresee that working well with water birth.

I have to use headphones. I'll look for waterproof ones. I don't want it playing for all to hear- I need it just in my ears to drown out background noise. That's how I did it with my first. Where I labored in tub and almost pulled my iPod in tub a few times.

I found some cases on amazon but figured I'm not the only one who's thought of this.

I'm even thinking about gettig the waterproof cover and armband that runners use when it rains. That way I just keep my arm out of the water but if it goes under a bit or gets some water splashed on it won't kill it. Kwim?

I had a whole playlist made labeled laboring music. Dave asked me if I wanted it turned on once we were in the room. I snapped and said no lol. I threw a lot of my own birth plan out of the window. I could kick myself sometimes.
