My doula came over the other day when I was overdue to chill out and watch movies with me. She brought over a movie called Wanderlust. It had the funniest birth scene in it (about one minute long, lol). I know the media likes to hype up birth and make it crazy and sensational in TV and movies, but sometimes there is a rare and awesome birth sequence.

Do you have a favorite birth scene in a movie? What is it?

I don't know about movies. I liked Rachel's birth in "Friends" though, when Janice, Chandler's ex, was in the same birthing room - it was pretty funny, but then touching in the end as well.

Oh and this is good too! It's from Return of the Blue Lagoon. It's pretty mild, but I love how she figures breastfeeding out on her own.
