After you have had a natural childbirth, does it matter to you if the 3rd stage is managed? Or would you rather be left alone?

Has anyone here had a completely unmanaged 3rd stage? What about lotus birth?

I would prefer things be left alone unless there were complications. My midwife felt where my placenta was a while after Claire had been born and said it was ready to come out. I gave one little push and out it came. No lotus birth here.

I rather it be left alone, my 1st was my only managed 3rd stage. I'm not into lotus birth but I do know a couple who have done it. I rather save my placenta so I can encapsulate it
