I am wondering where I can find a record of the state laws, not just the hospital policy on some of the things like the eye ointment and vaxing and such. I want to be well informed as I am making out my birth plan and I know that state to state there are different laws, and I am giving birth in a state that I don't live in.....I was just wondering if any of you know a web site or whatever?
IT states: Minnesota has various laws requiring immunizations for children and adults enrolled in child care, school, and college settings. Legal exemptions are allowed - both for medical reasons and conscientiously held beliefs. This page includes both the actual Minnesota laws and MDH interpretations.
I cant find much about eye ointment - it may be that they have no specific laws about it. Not sure.
