When pregnant, do you follow any particular diet? Did you/do you have any aversions to foods? Did you/do you have any cravings?

Do you follow any particular diet when not pregnant? Do you have any special food needs/allergies?

Mmm, food...this topic is right up my alley! haha

When pregnant, do you follow any particular diet? Did you/do you have any aversions to foods? Did you/do you have any cravings?

When I first became pregnant, I was set that I was going to eat very healthily, which is something I've struggled with my entire life, really. I decided I wanted to change that for the pregnancy, but, unfortunately, the first months of my pregnancy were pretty rough on me. I would eat what I could, and my morning sickness caused a lot of aversions. Pretty much for the first month all I could keep down was carb-filled foods. :S Now, in my second trimester, it's gotten even harder to eat completely healthy because I'm starting to experience a lot of cravings! Luckily I've had a lot of veggie/fruit cravings, though.

Do you follow any particular diet when not pregnant? Do you have any special food needs/allergies?
I wanted to follow a diet, but that just couldn't happen with how this pregnancy has been so far. I'm lucky that I don't have any allergies!

I don't think I have any cravings in the way of "I MUST have that right now!" There are things I want, but nothing that I must have.
I am trying to eat more healthy, but I am still battling morning sickness, so some days I am eating terribly, but it's all I can keep down. One of the few things I can always seem to keep down is Fruit. Which is great!

I generally eat the same way when I'm not pregnant, no special diets. I pretty much eat whatever, just small portions if it's unhealthy. I love fruits and most veggies, so that's never an issue.

When pregnant, do you follow any particular diet? I just try to eat healthy. DH and I both have family histories of heart disease, so I try to keep our sodium intake to a minimum as well.

Did you/do you have any aversions to foods? Did you/do you have any cravings? Aversions- EGGS! I have not been able to keep down a single egg since about 8 weeks. I also can't stand the smell of coffee, which is really unfortunate.

Cravings- I craved iceberg lettuce the entire 2nd trimester, but it's not as strong any more. Sour chewy candy (like sour patch kids) is my main m/s killer (yes, I still have it), so I keep them around.

Do you follow any particular diet when not pregnant? Do you have any special food needs/allergies? Just overall trying to be healthy and keep the sodium levels down (so no processed foods). I'm severely allergic to chocolate (1 in a 1000 ) and tree nuts.

I had morning sickness from week 6-10 and I survived off of mainly oatmeal and saltines during that time. I tried to eat healthy for the rest of my pregnancy but I still ended up gaining more weight than I wanted.

I've been trying to lose all this baby weight and I've been trying to cut out grains, sugar and processed food. I was doing good until we went on vacation for two weeks. Now I seem to be on the see food diet

When pregnant, do you follow any particular diet? Nope, just tried to eat healthy and cut Chipotle down to a 4x a week minimum = ). I didn't have morning sickness so I didn't suffer from any food aversions either unfortunately. Would have been kind of nice to keep some of that 40 lbs away.

Do you follow any particular diet when not pregnant? We try to eat as little of processed food as possible. A more whole food diet is the idea. Mason's food is all organic at the moment but ours is not. Too expensive too be honest. But we feel the less is added the best. And the less fat and carbs the better but we still like to eat and we like flavor as well. I'm from Louisiana, I'm not going to eat like a rabbit my entire life lol.

When pregnant, do you follow any particular diet?

unfortunately, I have GD....so I am on a strict carb counting diet. It's really not horrible now, I have figured out the carbs that my body just doesn't process well. It is a very good diet, as in I can eat tons of veggies. Complex carbs are my friend!

Did you/do you have any aversions to foods? Did you/do you have any cravings?

No aversions now. During the first 14 weeks I couldn't stand a lot of meats and eggs weren't happening. I was eating a lot of carb rich foods and basically anything that I could keep down.

Do you follow any particular diet when not pregnant? Do you have any special food needs/allergies? Luckily no allergies! I tend to eat very healthy on a regular basis, if it's something unhealthy - it's small portions or just as a once in a while treat. We tend toward organic and home-prepared meals.

I can tell you that after I have this baby that I am going to eat a very large piece of chocolate cake!!!! I am a sweet nut, and although I obstain mostly, I like the occasional treat!! I have missed that!
