Hey! Welcome! I think there are a few ladies who have had natural VBACs here. I hope they pipe up! Have you contacted your local ICAN? They are great for support!

I had a natural vac after having a csection with my twins. I had to have an I'VE line placed just in case and labs drawn as if I was having a csection, but then I was left alone to do my own thing and I did not have an IV hooked up.

A good friend had an unplanned natural VBAC. That is, her second baby came so quickly there wasn't time to use any artificial pain medication!

She did have some complications - the placenta was attached to the scar from her c-section, so she couldn't deliver it naturally and ended up needing additional medical attention. But my understanding is that is not very common, and it obviously had nothing to do with the unmedicated aspect of her birth, that would have been a complication with or without an epi.

Oh wow! I've never heard of that. I've attended MANY VBACs, and they were all VERY straight forward and easy. You always wonder about the doctors the first time around, because these mama's babies just tend to ease out with NO problem whatsoever.
