Hi ladies, I've started to hang around this board more now that I am approaching 30 weeks and need to think about birth again. I've had 4 vaginal births but some were induced/augmented. My last one was a wonderful home birth but as I was unable to get a midwife for this pregnancy, I am back to hoping for as natural a birth as possible in the hospital with a doctor.
Now for the question: as per some of the reading I've been doing lately, I've decided to start eating a lot more yogurt in hopes that it will help me test negative for GBS (I've been positive every time
AFAIK). But I also know that I should be avoiding sugar for the same reason (and others). I hate plain yogurt. Is it then better to buy yogurt that is artificially sweetened, like with sucralose? Or is it better to buy plain and add a little of my own sugar in the hopes that it'll be a lot less than most sugared yogurts would have in it? Does it make a difference?
Maybe I'm over-thinking it.
