In the vastly varied range of birth experiences I know normal is hardly a word that can be used. But being a FTM it is all the same to me - I know anything is possible. That being said, I do want to labor at home as long as I can, but I don't want to put my baby in danger. What is the opposite of normal in pre-labor or labor? What would be considered bad things to see/ experience? Things to call about or seek medical assistance with, indicators that something may be wrong?
Ditto to everything Kallisa said. But also, follow your intuition. From what I have gathered, you are very in-tune with your body. Trust yourself. If something doesn't seem right or just seems "off", go with it, don't ignore it.
