I had my son in the hospital. It wasn't an awful experience but it wasn't the experience I would have liked to have. I am currently working on baby number 2 and I have decided I am doing this next one at home! If anybody on here has done an at home birth I would love to hear about it!!! Im actually excited about this one whereas before I was scared and nervous. I really recommend anybody thinking about doing an at homebirth or who knows little about it should watch "The business of Being Born." Its amazing! and definitely gives you a new perspective. Its currently on Netflix!
Welcome to the board! There are several home-birthers here (myself included ). You might check out the natural childbirth story forum at the top of this board for some inspiration Feel free to jump right in!
Okay, I will! Thank you!!!! I actually looked into it and apparently where I live you cant do home births. I don't know why they would do that, it seems kind of unfair but Im looking into it farther. However, if I cant have an at home birth I still plan on no epidural and doing it exactly the way I want lol. Im really not a fan of how hospitals do things. I know so many women that have lost their baby during delivery because of doctors intervention, its crazy!
