My doula and midwife were really great with everything going on. My doula came and sat with me Monday morning while I puked and cried and she helped me through all the emotional crap even though she wasn't able to go to the birth. My midwife has been by several times and is being super supportive and helpful.
My story is a prime example of when medical intervention is warranted!

Wow! How scary. I am so glad you are her are both doing well and your quick response time saved the day. In such cases, medical advancement is a blessing. Hope recovery goes smoothly and she is out of NICU soon! Congrats!!
How frightening! Natural birth is wonderful, but there is no doubt c-sections can save lives! So happy you and your girl are safe. I'm glad you had skilled doctors and supportive loved ones and professionals surrounding you.
