With my first dd I got the epi at 9 cm (unfortunately) so when it came time to deliver Lilly...I felt nothing and that goes for the placenta delivery too! I didn't even know that they had delivered it! I asked the dr when I had to push for that and she told me that it was already out. My question is this...if you go naturally is it painful when you deliver the placenta the way it is painful with the baby? Is it like having to push another baby out or is it much easier and no pain involved because you are already stretched out from the baby? Just curious...thanks!

No pain, just a mild little contraction or two.

My first one was a bit painful but I was TORE UP down there due to my darn OB.

The second one didn't hurt at all!

I didn't feel a thing. A little push on my tummy and out it came. I didn't even know that's what had happened until they remarked about how fast and easy it came out.
