How important was it to you? How much did it help? Who did most of the massaging? And lastly, where did you want to be massaged the most???

I don't know where I want to be massaged the most, but I'm really hoping that my massage therapist will be able to make it to the birth, she said she'd try... I'll let you know how it goes!

With DD never thought of it. But when I had back labor it was the greatest thing. It really helped me relax. I had my Dh, midwife, assitant midwife and a message theropist that the midwife knew that came in and helped.

I wanted it most on my lower part of my back.

So this time around it is very important to me.

The only birth I wanted constant massage with was this last one. I think it had to do with his size and presentation, but I wanted coccyx counterpressure and sacrum massage almost constantly. I had my doula doing it and it was great. Then my MIL (a massage therapist) took over and I HATED it. I don't know why, but I did not like her touch... so back to my doula. lol!
