I say YES. And koudos to you for not having an epi/pain meds with the pit drip because from what I understand that can cause a very intense labor, rather than the process of easing into the progression of labor w/o it. ANd really the bottom line is you had a healthy baby and that's what matters.

First off, let me say... you are the bomb for not getting the epi when you were having pitocin contractions! Second let me say WELCOME! I hope you enjoy it here and stick with our group! Now, on to your question. There are many different definitions for "natural birth" One being that you have had absolutely no interventions (no epidural, gas, pitocin, yadda yadda) and then some people also define it by saying that you just didnt use any form of drugs for pain. While I would run far far far away to avoid pitocin because I think its kind of evil I know that for some women its the only option and it works very well for its purpose. I would hate to see someone stripped of their "natural birther" title just because they couldnt get their baby to come out! So, I say absolutely, you had a natural birth!

I say yes because I had Pitocin and AntiB's for GBS also but no pain meds. Next time, I hope I won't have to have any of that. Welcome to the group and Yay for you for no pain meds!!
