I bought one of those "in style" shirts that look like maternity shirts but really aren't. I bought it years ago, and as I bought it I said to myself "i'll wear this when I'm pregnant" because it was so huge and I knew it would stretch. I wore it ALL the time when I was pregnant, I love this shirt and I wore it while in labor too. But, getting in and out and in and out of the tub got it wet so I eventually put on the hospital robes and had those changed constantly from getting wet too. I should have just worn a swim top.... But, for when I was at home and in labor, it was nice because it covered my whole body but let me breath and it wasn't constricting my belly during contractions.
I just watched my birth video last night and throughout the whole thing you can't even tell I'm in labor. It looks more like a family gathering. LOL!
