Has anyone ever heard that eating fresh pinapple will send you into labor? I was telling my friend that I was ready to have this baby (actually its moreso because I'd rather her be a leo and not a virgo......sounds crazy I know) and she suggested that I eat fresh pinapple. I just laughed because it seemed so....off the wall? I dont know, I'm wondering though if anyone else has heard this.

I've heard that but for the pineapple to have any effect you would need to eat a lot (and I mean a lot) of it.

I've heard of it as well, but never known anyone to actually try it - and like Jassiesmama said, you'd probably have to eat a ton. I love pinapple though, so I don't know that I'd have a problem with that when the time comes!

Yes, I read that it would have to be alot. My heartburn is so bad though I wouldn't even attempt it.

Yep, I've heard this one too - pineapple, mango, kiwi and eggplant are all supposed to help. Of course, nothing much will work if your body isn't gearing up for labor anyway...and I'm not sure how much you'd really have to eat. I've heard several people swear by eggplant parmesan, so I'm keeping it in mind for November myself!
