i've been contracting all day today, 30 minutes apart, 12, 20, 5, 10, etc nothign regular. also had some bloody discharge but since then more like discoloration (brown/peachy). what do you ladies think, something starting? my friend had her baby the day after she started bleeding, but that was more steady i just had a little bit and then like i said just a slight discoloration...

It could be labor starting, sounds like your body is definitely gearing up for it.

Since some of the discharge is brown/peachy I would say maybe it came from a check you had in the past couple days or something? With labor itself it stays pink or red I believe.

And contraction spacing can mean little. My midwife wanted to send me home when I had been at the hospital for over an hour because I was still at 4cm and my contractions were irregular. But I've noticed thats just how I labor, my contractions never develop into a consistent rhythm (length of contractions nor spacing between) for whatever reason. My midwife actually tried to tell me I wasn't in labor and that the fluid I was leaking was mucus and not amniotic fluid (which it totally was!) So even though she tried to send me home I refused to go and sure enough, less than 2 hours later had my daughter.

I hope labor starts for you soon hun. I know how anxious you are to meet your little girl.

I never even had bloody show. Good luck! This is what you have been training for! Just start picturing an 80's montage in your head and you'll be fine!
