Bowling, reading, watching movies, I'll say scrapping (but I haven't really got started on it yet)
If you could learn one new skill, what would it be?
I wish I could think fast enough before opening my mouth - it's more than a think before you speak, but along those same lines. I've said waaaaay too many things in my life that I wish I could take back.
Awww, thanks you guys...you are so sweet. I have done craft shows in the past and really enjoyed it but there is not alot of money to be made in it (most people browsing craft shows only want to spend a small amount of money and look for deals) so I have found that mural painting is the way to go. But I only do this on the side as the opportunities arise and I "work" in the local school district w/special needs children. Is this too much information? LOL Becky, what do you like to read? I am ALWAYS reading a novel!!! Just finished the sequel to The Other Boleyn Girl called The Boleyn Inheritance....it was soooo good!
Becky I would love to see pics of your scrapbooking! I am actually at the hospital right now, my youngest got admitted for a high fever the other day so I am not at home...but I will posts my pics when we get home (please pray that it will be soon!)
Julie, I hope your little one is feeling better and that you all can go home soon. There is no such thing as too much info with us, we love learning more about each other. With reading, I read pretty much everything - mystery, action/thriller, romance, historical, crafty, etc. I just finished this morning Dean Koontz's novel, Odd Hours. It was really good.
With the scrapbook pages, I'd love to see yours. I've only been scrapping for about 1 1/2 years, so I still consider myself new to the world. It's so much fun though!!! Here at JM we also have a scrapbooking forum if you'd like to check that out. Scroll towards the bottom and it's down there. I get alot of inspiration from those ladies and we usually have a cyber crop each month which is alot of fun. Here's the link I posted last weekend of the pages I did for August's Cyber Crop.
and if you want to see more . . . here's the link to the pages I've uploaded of my wedding album. Sorry, I did forget to take the pages out of their protective sleeves so there is some glare. Wedding Album
This weekend we're going to be pretty busy, but hopefully I'll get to do some scrapping. I just picked up the latest edition of Better Home & Garden Scrapbooks, etc. and I can't wait to try some of their page sketches.
Julie, I'm so glad your little one is home now & doing better. And thank your for your compliments. My wedding album was the 1st scrapbooking I've ever done, so I was pleased with how it came out. Your pages are wonderful! I love seeing what others scrap. I think you'll really enjoy cyber scrapbooking. The ladies are very inspirational and great for advice/opinions/assistance/etc. Come on over to the board and you'll see what I'm talking about. In the meantime, I know we have several other scrapbookers here at TTC OM as well - Marie has shared some beautiful digi scrap pages which I loved. I keep meaning to check at our local Costco to see if they print in the 12X12 size.
