K, so she came one day late but here she is Now I will be moving on to cycle #10 so all of my friends ( most of whom are preggers....one is actually having her C-section today and I have to be there, on the day I got my period ) sorry..anyway ,so they all say I have to go see my doctor, but my question is, what can he do for me if I know I'm already ovulating? I really don't know about any of this stuff except for clomid that makes you O, right? So what else is there?
UPDATE- well my Doctor just called and said that because I had a Chemical pregnancy a couple of months back that means I can get pregnant and it's not a fertility issue He said he could possibly meet with me not this sunday but next to explain everything I have to call him that morning to see if he is available so who knows what any of this means. So it looks like I may not getting any help medically so now I need all of you to tell me everything else I can try that is OVER THE COUNTER!!
I don't really have an answer as to "what's next" since I'm wondering the same thing. But, I'm thinking the doctor will probably run some tests to see if you could be Progesterone deficient, to see if you've got any blockages, that possibly your follicles aren't large enough, or even to see if there is an incompatability between your CM and DH's swimmers. And, maybe even check DH out for issues. There are so many possibilities it's amazing and a wonder that pregnancy can even occur. Try to get in to see your doctor asap, in case they want to do some cd3 testing. I guess what I'm trying to say, is it's not all medicine related.
Again, I'm sorry she showed....that darn witch doesn't know where she's not wanted.
I don't know alot about all this besides Clomid. That is what I had to take for most of my pregnancies. It is possible that you have a short luteal phase after you ovulate before AF comes. I took prescription progesterone for that. I also have used natural progesterone cream before. That seemed to help me. I think it helped me get pregnant with my son who is 4. He was all natural meaning no meds to get pregnant.
It is a good idea to see a DR. They can run some test to see if there is something going on. Could be thyroid or so many other things.
I too don't really have an answer to "What's Next". I just hope your doctor can give you some answers. For me, I was put on Clomid but my cycles have been very long and my LP stage a little of on short side. Your cycles seem to be a "normal" length as well your LP stage. Good luck, call you doctor as soon as possible & please keep us updated!!!
sorry about the witch. I thought we told her to stay away. Good luck next month.
I think the doctor may want to do an U/S to check your uterus and ovaries, and probably an HSG to make sure your tubes are open, and of course a semen analysis for your DH. I hope you get pregnant on your own and you won't have to go through all of this.
I'm sorry the witch showed! Definitely talk to your Dr. Mine is willing to do a CD3 test with me as early as next cycle, but did say if the results are normal she won't refer me to the fertility clinic until after a year of TTC. It never hurts to ask! Good luck this cycle!
I have never been on clomid but lots of friends have. I thought the same as you - if you ovulated there was no point to it. but i have a friend who ovulates and is currently also on clomid. so somehow it helps with.... something...sorry i know that's not much help but i think it is worth seeing a specialist and asking him about it. good luck!
WOW! He's going to meet with you on a Sunday??? As for OTC stuff.....that all depends on what you think may be the problem. Without doing a long drawn out reply, check the subforums at the top of our board, there's a section on helping with fertility issues (Helpful TTC Information). It's got lots of stuff in it.
