Okay so I ususally take my temp around 515am every day. But tonight I am working the 11p-6am shift at work. When do I take my temp? Should I take it when I wake up after I get home? I usually only sleep for about 4 hours if that......

Casey, I had to do the same thing on Monday when I had to work from 9pm to 6am. Anyhow from what I read just as long as you get in 3 hours of sleep...take your temp at the time and record temp and time...ff will adjust for the off temp. ex. my when up to 98.5 so they put a white cir. around that temp. I also wrote in the note area that it was a work shift. Take a look at my chart if you have any more question just ask. GL

what Chum says. I've had this happen several times and I just record the temp & time and make a note in the chart.

My temp was really high this morning. Think that was because of the change in time? I got almost 3 hours of sleep before I took it. But I had to get up for the bathroom, so I figured I better take it first....we'll see what happens....

You will probably end up discarding that temp since it is SO out of the norm.

That was a jump. Let's see how the next few day's temps are, and like Jess said you may end up discarding this one.

Some of it may be from the fact that I was buried into my blankets because DH left the window fan on when he left for work and I was too tired to get up and turn it off. We've been having some chilly mornings up here lately....guess fall is coming....I'm still wondering where was summer????

My temp jumped big too when from 97.8 to 98.5. I kept it and like I said ff adjust it and I have a white dot around it and it when down the next day. You can discard it if you like. GL
