I hope everyone can relax & enjoy this holiday weekend. DH has to work on Monday, but I have 3 days off and hope to get some of my scrapbooking done.

What does everyone else plan on doing?

We have 2 parties to attend tomorrow, not sure if we'll go to both. Other than that, hopefully *fingers crosses* we can get the shop ready for roofing and get caught up around the house and yard. And, I'm hoping to get some work caught up and maybe some house cleaning and again *fingers crossed* some scrapping in myself. I know, I know, all this labor you'd think it was labor day weekend or something!

Tomorrow we are taking our daughter to college. She is our second oldest. Our oldest just got married 3 weeks ago and moved out. I am not handling all this to well.

So after we get back from the school I am not sure how I will be.

That is my weekend.

I'm on vacation as of today!!!

I plan to sleep in for 9 days straight! We are supposed to golf tomorrow, and are going to the football game on Monday. Otherwise, no concrete plans.

Hi, my name is Mary and my DH is Andy and we are a Christian family of 9 living on a farm. We enjoy growing and raising our own food. We have a huge garden in the summer for vegetables and raise our own animals for meat. We homeschool our children, use cloth diapers, and eat as healthy as possible. God has planned the births of our children and we love having a big family!

God has blessed us with:
Daisy (9), Veronica (7), Charlie (4), Sally (3), Mark (2), Travis (15 months), Nathan (5 months)

Well, we had a laid back Saturday. However, DH and I just finished measuring and cutting all of the baseboards for our basement! Whew!!! I'm ready for a shower! Thankfully, DD took a loooong nap (she probably didn't fall asleep right away after we put her down) and we were able to accomplish the whole task. Now it will be up to me to paint the baseboards and all the trim. I can do that no problem while Anna naps in the afternoon. I have to wait until it's not so frickin' humid around here though! We also need to decide on paint color - whether we want to go with the dark coffee color or do something lighter. We have one dark brown accent wall and the rest of the walls and trim are oak panelling. To reward ourselves, we are treating each other to dinner at Moe's Southwestern Grill for burritos and chips!! They have a great deal on Sunday evenings! $5 for a burrito, chips, salsa, and a drink! I'm so hungry!!!! Let's eat!!!!

Tomorrow morning DH (and probably me and the Bean) will be helping pass out water at our church before our town's Labor Day parade.

Have a great weekend!!!
