scrapbook pages!! Becky challenged me to get at least one done over the weekend. I ended up scrapping for longer than I'd anticipated and didn't get a few things done, but oh well, the lawn will still be here today (or tomorrow )

This is just the beginning of a very large scrapbook of our honeymoon last year.

The next 2 is a 2page layout

Thanks, girls!! I've got LOTS left to do. I've also learned, well I knew this already, but I need to learn to write in a straight line.

Here's a hint from Bek - Here's what I do - use a ruler and in pencil mark some lines where you want to journal. Once your ink is dry, erase the pencil lines and your journaling will be straight!

I'll give it a try. But, when I've done that in the past, for things other than scrapping, I can always see my eraser lines.

I haven't had too many problems once I learned to make light pencil lines, and once I learned to wait until the ink was dry (found out the hard way when it smeared on me.) Also, I usually don't journal directly on the page - instead on a block (or whatever design I want) and then adhere that to the page. That way if I'm not happy with the results I can re-do.

Yeah that's what I did for the most part in the book I made DH. If I wanted to write something, I did it on an accent color page and then pasted it on the scrap page. Adds a little more color to a page and allows you to "try" to write straight.....That's where I have a problems. My printin is usually neat, but way......downhill....
