My DD fell while playing in a McD's playland area. I'm not sure how she fell off the platform she was sitting on, but I think she twisted something in her left leg. We spent 4 hours in the ER between the waiting room and waiting for the final paperwork (b/c they forgot that we were there!). They couldn't do anything for her because she was walking so much better by the time the doctor saw her, so it was a big waste of time (other than for our peace of mind). She woke up a couple times during the night really crying and holding up her left leg once, so I know it still hurts.
All I can do for her is give her Tylenol and hope that she'll walk it off, that's it's just stiff from non-use over the night. Poor baby!
DD is doing much better today. She still has a little limp on the left side, but she's getting better and is still able to walk and play hard even without a hitch. I guess we just freaked out a little, but it was better to know for sure that nothing was wrong instead of waiting and maybe having real trouble on our hands the next day.
