Becky, those cards are incredible. Glad you came up with a compromise so that you won't be trapped there all day, yet won't hurt your friend's feelings either.

Nice cards Becky and nice compromise with the party. Gets you there but doesn't keep you there any longer than you feel comfortable....

The 2nd one is my favorite one too, but they are all AWESOME!! Yay for an "escape plan". I knew you'd end up going.......you're too good of a person to fib to get out of it, besides deep down you knew the card making session would be too much fun to pass up.

I agree - they are all great, but my fave is definitely the 2nd one - love the colours and nice to see something different to the usual christmas colours!

These were all so much fun to do, and I really love the 2nd one too. The only problem is that I don't have enough of the blue cardstock for the base card in that shade of blue. It was part of pack of cardstock that was called their summer colors and I only have the other 1/2 of this sheet plus 2 additional sheets - which will only make 5 cards. I went out yesterday to JoAnn's and it's no longer in stock. The other blues I have just don't match the pattern paper as well. Grrrr! What I'm supposed to do is bring the sample card fully completed, and then pre-cut all the paper and have all the supplies needed for everyone to make my card. I haven't checked today, but as of Monday when I RSVP'd there were 15 attending. I played around with a few other card designs last night, but didn't have time to upload them. I'll get those uploaded hopefully this evening.
