So talked with the RE's office today and we now have a plan in place. DH went (finally) to get his bloodwork done this past weekend, so now I'm just waiting on AF. I'll go in for day 3 bloodwork up on my hormones and a bunch of other stuff to do with infectious diseases (?????). Then they will start me on the pill again (yucky!), make my calendar and then we do it...So if this works, (as I so nicely told my boss today...lol) I'll be due in December I believe. Just in time to be out of work during our busiest time....the holidays!!!!! YIPPEE!!!! I hope this does work....so now I'm just waiting on AF. My last pill was taken on Friday night, so I expect her anytime between now and Thursday.
I also have my physical next Monday and they are going to check the progress of the cysts...I don't think that they are totally gone, based on the twinges that I still get occasionally, but I'm sure that they have decreased tremdously!

So...back from the docs....they took 8 viles of blood from me this morning for all kinds of tests. I start the bcp tonight (yucky) and then another one on Monday...the pills on Monday are for 5 days and they are antibiotics...I go Wednesday for my sonohystogram (sp??) to check everything....then we go from there...I'm so excited...I really hope this works....
OUCH!! 8 viles!! I had 9 taken from me once (5 from one arm and 4 from the other), I'm lucky I didn't pass out getting up from the chair. So excited for a plan for you, Casey!!
Ok so here's the update....my labs came back and didn't look good...my unterain function was very very low and then my estrogen level is way too high (should be about 30-35 on CD2, but mine was about 140)...so they think there might be a cyst producing estrogen and hindering the unterian function....so now i'm just waiting for my u/s on monday to see what's going on...meanwhile I started my bcps again last night and the antibiotics on monday for the sono on wed.....and now I have to get DH back to the labs somehow because they didn't do the infection diseases bloodwork and they need to do that.....oh well...
Don't lose hope, Casey. It sounds like you are estrogen-dominant, which means that your estrogen is out of balance with your progesterone and your estradiol. That is pretty common and how we get things like fibroids, cysts, etc. I have a similar problem. I guess it depends on HOW out of whack your hormones are when doctors decide the best course of treatment. Which is probably why they put you on BCPs. Hang in there -it is good to have all of this info now so that your doc can treat the whole picture.
