Last Tuesday I was 9w1d, but baby was only 6w3d with no heartbeat. I was given Cytotec and passed a bunch of clots Tuesday night. I'm still bleeding some (like AF bleeding) and having AF-like cramps, which my doctor says is normal. She said that I could have bleeding for 1-1.5 weeks.

I'm still very heartbroken over this loss, however, I really want to start TTC again. I'm anxious to have a healthy baby. Has anyone else been through this? When did your doctor tell you it was ok to start TTC again?

It took us 9 months to get pg with this first baby. I'm 30 years old and the clock is ticking!! We finally got pg with 100mg Clomid, Ovidrel, IUI, Prometrium. It was also the first cycle that my hypothyroidism was under control (88mcg Synthroid). I'm terrified that it is going to take a long time to get pg again

Has anyone had HCG levels anywhere close to mine - 34,000? If so, how long did it take for them to get back to zero? How long did it take for AF to come after they were back down to zero?

So very sorry for your loss,, with my 2 miscarriages we were able to TTC right away again. you might want to ask your doctor if its okay to TTC right away again.

Lisa - I'm sorry for your losses. Did you have your HCG levels checked when you had your m/c? How far along were you? How long did it take before you got your first AF?
My HCG level was 34,000 on Tuesday when I got the Cytotec. I'm wondering how long it will take for it to go back to zero and then how long it will take before I get my first AF.

Mine were very early first one was at 5 weeks and second was at 4 weeks just a few days after the positive test. so my HCG never got above 50. we think it was implantation issues due to a thin lining,( thanks to clomid). so my situation was much different then yours.
I do think you will need to wait for your HCG levels to drop before TTC again. the ladys at TTC after a miscarriage might be able to give you better advice because I have never had a late miscarriage.
