I went to my post op appt after my D & C yesterday and ended up on the steps waiting to be called, as I could not sit in the waiting room and watch all those gorgeous bumps I can't have, right now!

My dr. said my cervix closed and my DH and I can start intercourse and 5 weeks to try again.

He said although they're doing a chromosonal test on my baby girl, they prob won't get any conclusive data AND it was probably just a bad egg.

YEAH!!! I need ONE good egg. He said I should get the eggs of a 25 year old!!!! I wanted to tell him to pick a finger! simply pick a flipping finger!!!!! A GOOD ONE!!!!

So, I need ONE GOOD EGG! to fertilize, to nurture, to grow, to birth my healthy baby. I need a good egg.

The fighter in me is saying..."SCREW THEM!!!!! You can do it! They don't know us!!!!" At the top of my lungs!

I'm 45 going on 46.

The glass is half full.

Step 1: !!!! I can get pregnant.

One step at a time and one miracle at a time. I can get pregnant and I can produce eggs.

Step 2: !!! Producing ONE GOOD EGG!!!!!

I can't be dillusional!!!! I need to hear success stories with women my age with their OWN EGGS who gave birth to healthy babies. I know it has been and can be done!!!

Ladies, lift me up. AND did you do anything to make your eggs better quality.

So sorry for what you are going through. I had my daughter at 42. Got pregnant with my 2nd daughter at 43 but miscarried a week after the amnio. Had to have heart valve repair surgery 3 months later. Just found out I was pregnant at age 45 on May 21st. My hcg was not measuring where I should be and had a ultra sound today. I should be 8 weeks on Friday and the embryo is measuring around 4.5 weeks. I am so upset!! My doctor who has not given up hope but said I could try again. He said his oldest patient is 55 years old and he has other patients in their 40's. So don't give up hope!!

I'm sorry you are ging through this! I'm 40 and have 'old egg' issues. It's hard, and we are just hoping to get that good egg like we did with my DS.
Don't give up!

Im 40 as well, and was told my eggs were "old" and my chances at conceiving a healthy baby were 1/10. Well I had three m/c's before giving birth to my youngest last year, and got pg right away 5mo later with another healty egg. It does happen!!

Dear ladies,

I'm coming out of my FUNK! and starting to fight with everything I got in me. One of my amazing GREAT EGGS! WILL meet my DH's great sperm, and make a complete 46 chromosomal embryo that will grow into a healthy baby, that I WILL birth successfully.

@Lyric and momof5lopez, thanks, I'll hold onto your words. :=) @termore don't give up. I understand where you are cause I am there and wading through the waters to get the hell out and fight for my healthy baby.
