Let's chat about anything on or off topic here.
Hi ladies! Can you believe it's July already? It feels like this year is flying by. So, how is everyone doing?

I'm still wrapping my head around that it is July!
My Buggy turns 18 months tomorrow! My little baby is pretty much a full fledged toddler.
On a weird note, it hit me that today is my ex's birthday....hoping he's rotting somewhere nice.

Hope so too, Sam
Good morning everyone! The sun is shining, no flooding today, though it did downpour for 25mins straight last night, I'm sure my rainbarrel is full again, it was bone dry yesterday at noon.
25 days to meet our little man!!

Sam - 18 months - wow!!! Where does the time go? and have to chuckle over the ex comment.
Marie - It's not long now!!!! And I'm glad it's not flooding for you, you certainly have gotten alot of rain lately.

LOL, Sam! That was hysterical!!
I hope everyone had a happy 4th and/or Canada Day! We had a little earthquake today, which is really rare. I totally freaked out not knowing what it was. There was just a loud noise and the house shook and then it was over. It was only a 2.3. I can't imagine going through a bigger one.
Marie, the picture of your kids in your siggie is priceless. They do not look impressed! Very cute!

my kids are never all happy in pics anymore, I have to pull out the stern mom voice just to get them to look at the camera for 5 seconds!
Just announced a rain advisory for the weekend, supposed to get 150-200mm in 24 hours from Saturday to Sunday-that's alot!

It's so hard to get Mark to sit still long enough for a pic, so I can't imagine getting 4 to sit all together AND look at the camera.
Rain, we do need it bad here, but it's rained so hard & fast today that all it accomplished was just flooding which doesn't do the ground much good.
So, any weekend plans for anyone? DH works a few hours each day, but we don't have much planned beyond the usual housework, errands, laundry, etc. Nothing exciting.

Flooding is never good! I hope you get some good rain soon that the ground has time to soak up. Marie, I hope you aren't getting bad flooding!
I think we're just going to have a relaxing weekend. My BF was supposed to go out lobstering today but his stern man never showed up for work (he's got some major drama going on with his GF and it's affecting his job/my BF's livelyhood) so he couldn't go out. I offered to go out with him, but I'm secretly happy he decided not to go because it's raining and I don't think I'd be happy being stuck on a boat all day in the rain, lol.

our acreage is in a sandy area, so even if it poors it disappears pretty quickly, though the evestroughs are plugged with leaves and so its been pouring over the sides. It rained straight for 48hours, today just a little sprinkle, but still no sun.
I bought my nosing for my basement stairs today, along with the transition pieces and a few things for Nolan and Elizabeth's new room! My basement should be done by next Friday and ready to move in!!

Sam~ Love the ex comment. Cannot believe CJ is 18 months already.
Marie ~ Can't wait to 'meet' the newest little J. Hope it does not flood.
I can't get Katie to stay still for pics either. She will be 20 months on the 19th and she thinks she's 'all grown and stuff'. . . her attitude, DH's words. lol
Hopefully the weather will stay calm for everyone.
Hoping to see a BFP explosion on the board soon. . . hey, I am done with one so I am planning to enjoy my friends' pregnancies.

Beth - I too love that new siggy!! So hard to believe Miss Katie is 20 months old already. Where does the time go to?
Marie - 36 weeks now. Can't wait to meet the newest little one. The basement sounds like its coming along nicely, I hope you post some pics of the finished rooms.

Me too!!!! Just consider us your cheerleaders!!!!
So, how's the week look for everyone? I'm feeling kind of blah today, but also didn't get alot of sleep so that is probably the reason. And it's hot & miserable so I also couldn't get outside for a decent walk at lunchtime either. I'm so ready for cooler temps to get here.
Beyond the weather & Monday blahs, I AM looking forward to having a whole week off work next week!!! Yes I know I was off all last summer on maternity leave, but that wasn't exactly a relaxing restful vacay. So to have a whole week off with my boys will be wonderful. It'll mainly be a stay-cation, but we do plan on visiting things in our area too. We hope to play "tourist" and see some local attractions too and maybe also finish the shelves we started in our basement all those months ago. Mainly though, we just want to relax and enjoy our time together.

I would REALLY like to see a BFP explosion on this board! Thanks for the cheers & support ladies!!
Becky, I love staycations! It is fun to go somewhere, but it's also so exhausting! With a staycation you don't necessarily have to adhere to a certain schedule and you don't have to deal with a recovery period when it's over. I hope you have a great week off!! We're going camping again this weekend and I'm really excited. So far the weather looks good...I just hope it stays that way, lol!

I hope you have fun camping! Are you getting these record temps up there? It's certainly miserable here in the DC area.

This is totally off topic, but the bill collectors called my house asking for my ex husband and I said 'He hasn't lived here in 15 years, but if you check in Richmond, Kentucky, you can probably find him." Was that rotten of me? I mean since he tried to friend me on Facebook, I know what city he lives in so I thought why not share.

Oh Beth, LOL! Too funny! Hey, if he wants to be your friend, friends can be very helpful and sharing!
Yes, a pile of BFP's would be a welcome sight here!!

Beth, that is great!!! I can't believe he wanted to friend you on facebook too, bizarre.
So how's everyone today? It's humpday!! The week is half over, and we're heading towards the weekend now. I'm good, it's off to work, back home, then back to work again. Wash, Rinse, Repeat. That's my routine lately. Anyone have anything exciting going on? or anything at all . . .

Becky - It is very hot here...and humid (yuck) but we haven't gotten the major heat yet, thankfully!
Beth - That is too funny! I don't see anything wrong with directing them to the right place. I hope they put notes in their system so they don't keep calling you. I'm friends with my ex-husband on Facebook but it's not weird because we've been good friends since the divorce.
I hope everyone's having a good week! I have the rest of the week off so I need to get the house clean and get some food shopping in preparation for camping. Two of my dogs are shedding SO bad! I have to vacuum every day. I really should vacuum every couple of hours because it seems as soon as I'm done, the dog hair is all over the floor again. It drives me nuts! I'm tempted to shave them
