Okay, I know alot of you are Twilight Fans, but are there any other Harry Potter fans? I can't wait to see this final film. I'm not so fanatic that I'm attempting a midnight showing though. But DH & I (along with several coworkers) are planning on leaving work early and watching the movie in the afternoon one weekday during the week of 24-30th. We'll do this while Mark is at daycare.
Here's a link to a really good trailer for the new film if anyone wants to see it.
The final 'Harry Potter' trailer (likely) ever: Watch it here | Inside Movies | EW.com

I love Harry Potter! I can't wait to see the last movie, but I will stay far away from the theaters when it first comes out, lol! It looks unbelievable! I'm so glad they split it up into 2 movies. That book had way too much content to try and squeeze it into one. Let us know how the movie is when you see it!

yay! I'm not the only fan here or at least we're the only ones who are admitting it outloud.
I'm so glad they split the movie too, there is alot of info in the book. We're excited to see it and I'll let you know how it is. We don't want to deal with crowds so we rarely ever see a movie on opening weekend. We're grouchy old people . . .

LOL! Yes, I totally admit it! I get teased all the time for being a Bon Jovi fan so I can handle any teasing for loving Harry Potter. I totally get the grouch old person thing. I wouldn't be able to handle the insane crowds!

Bon Jovi is cool too! I seen him in concert once, loved it!! We now need Esmy (txjovigal) here, she pops in here every now & then, and is a HUGE fan. I cannot remember how many times she's seen him in concert, but it's a lot.

I have seen them a bunch of times and loved every show! I've missed the last couple of tours which bums me out. I used to love staying out all night waiting for the tickets to go on sale...ahhhh...the things we can do when we're young! LOL!

Yay another fan who admits it. I thought I remember you looking forward to the last movie when it came out.
Jess & I (remember Jessica C) have been quizzing each other via texts today to remember what the deathly hallows were, how many and what the horcruxes are, etc. I guess I can always dig the book out to & re-read, but it's been fun to see what we can remember.

What a fun challenge you have going on! I wouldn't possibly be able to remember all of that. I will totally have "oh yeah" moments when I watch the movie as things start coming back to me.

Yay!! Another Jovi fan!!! I know there are tons of us out there...just not everyone openly admits it.
So glad there are more of us who love Harry Potter. I really hope she writes more books, even if the HP series is over. I love her writing!

Marie - They are amazing live! They really know how to work a crowd. What's interesting now is when you go, there are fans of all ages...little kids up to "vintage" ladies like us (someone posted that term a few months ago and I love it)
It's too bad you can't get a sitter. I hope you get to go see the movie soon!

Marie - I hope you can get a sitter to go watch this movie.
Sam - I can't wait to hear how it is. You & DH may beat us to watching it.
Sarah - I agree that Bon Jovi really knows how to work the crowd. It was an amazing concert. And I also agree that I too hope J.K. Rowling continues to write. She is amazing. There's also a new website she's going to have out with background history stuff on the HP characters. That should be alot of fun too.

Oh wow! I hadn't heard of the website. I'll bet that is really interesting. I wonder how she felt when she finished the final HP book. I know I felt a little depressed after I finished reading it. I would imagine that she got even more connected with the characters writing it.

LOL Becky I was thinking yesterday I need to go back and re read the whole series.
This was the first 3D movie I've been to since the days of the red and blue glasses. It was really kinda cool! took me a few minutes to get used to the glasses, but I loved the effects.
