What do you want to name your future baby and/or babies??

For a girl I like:

Cassie or Alaina

For a boy I like:

Trenton or Jayce

Those are cute names. How did you pick them? family, from a book, always just loved them???

With us, we pass on family names. That's been a tradition in both our families, and we also both had the tradition of using biblical/saint names too. So not surprisingly we have alot of the same names. Our son Mark is named after DH's father. If he had been a girl, he would have been Evangelia Rebekah. We would love to have another LO, but not sure yet if/when we will TTC again, or if we will choose a different route like adoption, just not sure yet. Anyway, A second girl name would be Sophia Magdalene, a second boy name is Nicholas John. We change up on the second names sometimes, but for the most part have been consistent.

We don't decide until the baby is born . All our kids are named after a family member, but we are both from really small families and are running out of people to name them after. With this one, we might go with a biblical middle name. I like Emmanuel, but hubby isn't convinced.

So we go in with a list of about 20 names and cross one off with each contraction when they start getting bad. Keeps my eye on the prize!

Mari, that's a great way to cross off the names AND distract you to.

Dara, I love those names! Very cute!!

Becky, I have never heard of the name Evangelia before. It is beautiful!

Mari, I love how you decide on a name! Very clever!!

I haven't actually allowed myself to really think of names or discuss them with my BF. I guess it's a silly superstition or something. But, the names that keep coming to me if I do let myself think about it are Jacob for a boy and Ava for a girl. I love the name Jacob and the nickname Jake...and I will admit that I like Ava because that is what Richie Sambora's daughter is named....he's the guitarist for Bon Jovi. How bad am I? LOL!

Thank you. It's MIL's name, and pretty common for a Greek name, it means "Good news; bearer of good news"

I have just always loved those names. I did the same thing with Trevor.........I wanted him to have a biblical name some where in there, but I also wanted him to have a J in his name because my husbands name is Jason, my middle name is Julie........so we named him Trevor Jacob.

My mom's best friend is named Evangelia!!! We call her Miss Vangie!!!

My niece's name is Alexa Sophia.

Love Evangelia!

AND LOL on the Bon Jovi names.....

We want to use family names. CJ is named after my Dad and Grandpa and the DH's as a middle name.

Next baby if it's a boy most likely will be Frederick, middle is a toss up of Taylor, O'Neil or Allan.
A girl we had been pretty set on Elizabeth Louise or Patricia Belle, but lately I've been tossing around Ione.

I have NO idea!! I think I haven't let myself think of it too much. We had a really hard time coming up with names for our two boys. I can't imagine if we had another boy. We'd be thrilled to have a girl, but also, lost for what to name her.

Some good names here....We started out with a list of ones that he liked and ones that I liked. I like Joseph, but I was set on a girl so I was mainly looking at girl names. When I was in the hospital for my appedix, DH brought the laptop in for me and MIL and I spent a day looking at names. We ended with Joseph or Matthew for boys and never settled on a girl's name because DH was 200% sure that it was a boy...I like the name Mackenzie Rose for a girl. But if we have another boy, it will most likely be Christopher Joseph. Christopher after DH's best friend that passed last year and Joseph for his other best friend that we see alllllllll the time.

Side note: my ex DH and his 2 brothers all had names that started with G. My mom named me and my 2 sisters with C's. Two of my nieces are S's (they are cousins.) I always said that I would never do that...my names would be as far apart as Adam and Zachary, but the more I think about it, I really like the name Mackenzie Rose....matches with Matthew Robert....lol
