I have a wedding to go to next weekend and my fingers are crossed that it is nice out because it's an outdoor wedding. That is also the day I will find out if I have a BFP or AF (lol, who am I kidding, I'm going to start testing way earlier than that!). The weekend after that is the annual fair in town. I am already looking forward to fair food! My birthday is also early in September so I will either be celebrating (if I'm pregnant) or moping (if I'm not).

Good luck with the new system. It's hard to switch things around and get everything running smoothly. I hope it is a smooth transition for you!
I'm going to the Blue Hill Fair. It's always so much fun and I look forward to it every year. I'm pretty bummed about this year though because they won't have the loaded baked potatoes anymore. Those were amazing! I hope I'm pregnant so that I have a really good excuse to pig out on the crappy but delicious fried food! LOL!

I just had a really good week with the potential of a new job...fingers crossed!
But, the end of summer means I have to start sewing costumes for the Renaissance Festival that starts in October. I'm hoping to put a steampunk outfit together... I have doubts on my ability to make either a mini top hat or a fascinator...

OOOOH! Good luck getting the new job!!! I'm sure they'd be lucky to have you!!!
I just have to ask...what is a steampunk outfit? I am clueless when it comes to Renaissance fashion. Those festivals sound like so much fun though!

Thank you so much on the well wishes! It's an accounting job for a string of men's clubs...I really hope I get it!
Steampunk is kinda new, but not really.
I see it along the lines of Goth and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
The costumes use aviator caps, lots of trinkets like watch gears, keys and chains...
I'll post pictures...promise!

We were off work last week with daycare closed, so no more vacay for a while here. Schools are starting back, so we're just waiting for the commute home to settle down to a routine. It's always confusing for about 3-4 weeks until that happens. I haven't been to a fair in a long time, maybe we'll take Mark to one. I'm sure he'll enjoy it.
