Hi Ladies!!

Sorry I have been MIA the last week, but I am sure you all understand.

I am going on a trip to New Yory City on September 22 through the 25th. I am going with DH's grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and cousin and cousin-in-law.....basically 6 women. LOL

We have never been there before (DH's grandmother has, but the other 5 of us have not) and I was just wondering if you ladies have any "must see" attractions that you know of there.

We are going to see the Broadway play "Wicked" while we are there.

Have any of you been there? What will the weather be like so I know what to pack?

Thanks for your advice and tips!

I haven't been to NYC in years. But one thing I loved was hitting China Town. I was suppose to be working so we didn't get as much free time as I would have liked but that was fun and we also hit the Empire State building.

I have heard China Town was a fun place. I think it is 4 miles from where we are staying. I know we are going to the Empire State building.

A co-worker of mine told me that we needed to go to the "Top of the Rock." I think that is the top of the Rockerfeller Center. I also know we are going to Ground Zero and the Statue of Liberty. We are going to ride the subway to get there. That will be a nerve wracking experience!! LOL

Subway is actually pretty easy as long as you give yourself enough time. There are maps everywhere that tell you which train you want.

I haven't been there enough to give good advice on places to go. I do think that you should go to Rockefeller Plaza when the Today Show is on and bring a sign saying hi to your girls at JM!! I would definitely bring some sweaters but also bring clothes in case it is warm. There's always a chance of a fluke warm patch of weather. Chances are, though, it'll probably be fairly cool. Also, make sure you have comfortable shoes!!!

Have a GREAT time!!!
