OT-Books

Is anyone reading anything good right now? I'm in the middle of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and it is so good! It was a little slow and confusing in the beginning but then it took off and is so intriguing.

Do any of you have favorites or are you reading something right now that you'd recommend?

I love to read, but don't have much time lately. And I'm trying to get back to my scrapbooking, so that takes up even more of my time. I like to read pretty much anything.

A more recent book that I read was The Island by Victoria Hislop. Set in Crete, Greece dealing with the Spinalonga, a leper colony. It's been translated to English and is a really good book.

I'm reading another series by Charlaine Harris (True Blood/Sookie Strackhouse series) it's the Harper Connolly series. Its pretty good, I'm on the last book now. I need something else to read, as I know have a lovely $50 giftcard for my kindle!

I've seen the original movies for that series (the Swedish ones). They are a bit bloody but were really good.

Have you read the Twilight Series? If you start it, you will not be able to put it down!! I thought it was going to be a "teenie bopper" book set, but I was wrong and I am totally addicted to it now. I have all of the books and all of the movies that have come out so far.........I have even thought about downloading them on my Kindle. LOL

Nora Roberts has a series that is really good that is called the Sign of Seven Trilogy......the 3 books are:

Book 1......Blood Brothers
Book 2 .....The Hollow
Book 3......The Pagan Stone

I have read this trilogy, and it is one of my favorites.

I love Nora Roberts, LuAnne Rice and Sandra Brown. I can read anything by those authors.

I am reading Last Kiss by LuAnne Rice.....it is really good!!

I found a book called Misconceptions at Dollar Tree.
So far, so good...

My favorite author is Janet Evanovich and I recommend her books!
Stephanie Plum gets into more trouble than I ever could...go figure!!!

I didn't know they already made movies. I will have to check them out. I'm sure I'll need to plan to watch them when my BF isn't around. I don't think he would have the patience for subtitles!

I LOVED the Twilight series!!! I went through a mini-depression when I finished Breaking Dawn. I want more!!!!

Janet Evanovich is FABULOUS!!! I haven't read the Stephanie Plum books at all, but there was another series that I read (can't remember anything except a dog named Fleas) and I loved it!! She is hysterical!!
