first monitoring u/s

So I had my monitoring u/s the other day. My follies are growing, bu not fast enough, so we aren't sure when everything will happen now. I have another appt tomorrow morning before work to see how large they are. There were a couple at 10 but not enough. So hopefully after tomorrow I will be able to add the third med and get ready for a trigger very soon....I just keep hoping that they ballooned in size since the u/s so that we can try to keep on schedule. It's hard because of work too to keep going and changing the dates. My boss is being pretty cool about the whole thing though, so I can't really complain...Hope everyone has a great weekend!

My follies take forever to get started but once they do, they grow fast. It's like they're just late out of the starting gate. I hope it's the same for you. Go follies, go!

Jessica...I hope that's the case. Called to order more meds just in case that I need them (most likely). I have enough to have shots this weekend and Monday night, but that's it. Then I got a phone call from the pharmacy that I have reached my lifetime max on my scripts so I have to pay out of pocket for the meds. That's 1100 just for the menopur....Or if I just need a couple, about 90-100 per vial. That's not bad but I need 2 vials a day. And that is just the menopur, no clue about the Bravelle. So I am hoping that my u/s tomorrow says that they are growing wicked fast. My stomach is wicked bloated and I am having some pains, so maybe they are growing. But I did notice that I am bruising on one side from the shots but not the other side. Guess my right side is more sensitive to the needles. lol.......praying for a good u/s tomorrow and prob Monday too....trigger tuesday would be a dream!!!!

So Saturday's u/s went well and they had me come back on Sunday for more b/w and another u/s. And they started my third medicine shot on Saturday too. From Sunday's visit, my estrogen level is over 1100 (i guess that's good) and I have now 8 measurable follies on the left and 2 measurable ones on the right. What happened to the others on the right I don't know. But I have to go in again this morning to get even more b/w and u/s done. The problem with yesterdays is that my left ovary was hiding next to my uterus and kinda behind my belly button. THAT HURT!!!! But she felt so bad about having to do it...So I'm off for more and hopefully finding out that I trigger tonight because I am starting to have signs of Oing....(EWM a little, sooooo.....)

Good news. Got my results from yesterday's visit and we are a go for Wednesday. I triggered last night at 930pm and we have to be in at 815 tomorrow morning. I just hope that we aren't too late (TMI warning....lots of EWM this morning when I got up) but I think they know what they are doing. So now I just have to figure out if I am going to be able to go to work tomorrow night after or not. People are telling me probably not but I'm not sure. Gonna call the docs after I get back from my morning appt. (Gotta get more BW done for my stupid insurance company)

So I will update tomorrow at some point to let you know how it goes....later

So I'm home from the retrieval...they were able to get 5 good eggs. I guess they changed their minds and are doing a 5 day transfer. So they are tentatively looking at Monday for the transfer, which is again going to mess up my work schedule. But if they don't think it will go that long, they are going to transfer on Saturday. I should hear from them tomorrow afternoon about how everything is going with the fertilization. So as soon as I can tomorrow night, I will post another update. Here's to thinking good thoughts.....

So they called yesterday and only 4 eggs fertilized. So they cannot do the 5 day blasto-thingy, so we are transfering Saturday. Gonna be a nice relaxing weekend!
