Hi and Welcome!
I did Clomid for two cycles before DS (I was 38 at the time). Then we moved onto injectables, which we got pregnant with DS on.
This time around we skipped Clomid entirely and did three cycles of injectables. First was a m/c at 6.5 weeks, Then we got pregnant on the third one, and still are.

Hi and Welcome!
I was on Clomid for 1 cycle, and got pregnant right away. I had a miscarriage with that baby, but I turned around and got pregnant on my own the very next cycle..........I am due in May 2012. I think it kick-started my system to get me O'ing on my own again.
Hope this helps!! Good Luck and I hope you get your BFP soon!!

I was also on Clomid for 1 cycle which also resulted in a m/c. Not sure if the m/c was the result of the clomid or age related. AF finally returned after almost 8 weeks after the D&C. I am going to try soy this round and monitor my O with the CBEFM.
Fingers crossed.

I've taken Clomid several times when we were TTC. 4 cycles were before we discovered we were also dealing with severe MFI so those cycles technically never had a chance, BUT clomid did get me O'ing those cycles and earlier then I typically did O. I have PCOS so had very wonky cycles and several where I never did O, and when I did O it was around CD29ish. When we got back to TTC (after the MFI dx), we did IUI using Clomid, u/s to monitor developing eggies, and a trigger shot. I got pg the 2nd IUI cycle.

HI. I did 2 cycles of clomid last year with no success. As you can see it works for many of us older folks but I recommend making sure you get monitored while taking it. My lining got so thin on it that even if sperm met egg there was little chance of implantation.
I hope it works for you!!

Hello,
I am 41 and just finished my 3rd cycle on clomid. It appears I didn't get my BFP though... I am 11dpo and took a hpt and it was a BFP.
Not sure what the plan is going to be yet for my 4th cycle.
Good luck. I hope the Clomid works for you.

We TTC for a while and then tried a cycle of clomid and boom, got my bfp! Sounds like its different for everyone and I agree, make sure they have checked all your blood work and make sure your healthy through the process! Good luck, its very possible!!!

I took Clomid last cycle as part of my fertility testing. It didn't help me get pg but it did help me ovulate earlier.

Hi! I am thinking of starting clomid as well. I have low progesterone, which I have been taking the cream for. The cream has made my LH phase longer which was exciting...however no BFP! I never had a positive on my OPK until I started using the cream.
But curious, Sam- what are the shots?
Good luck Harley! Keep us posted on what works for you!
