I know this subject has been posted before, but for the life of me I can't find anything. I'm on CD2 and wondering how much soy to take, when to start taking it, and for how long.

Any information is appreciated!

Hi,

I’m going to try Soy Iso this cycle also. I’ve read that you should take 120mg for 5 days at the beginning of the cycle. It can be 3-7 or 5-9. Those dates are idea because too early there is an issue of possible multiple immature eggs, and if to late possibly no egg at all.

If someone has something different…please correct!

My problem is I can’t find how to get 120mgs. I’ve checked two different vitamin stores and the only products I see has either extremely high dose (2.25gms) or low dose…100mg and they are capsules do can’t do any splitting. So I got the 100mgs…should I take just one or two? I’m thinking one is smarter because it’s closer to the right dose, but then I’m thinking I don’t want to not take enough to do the trick?

Any ideas anyone? Thanks!!

I got mine at Walmart (Spring Valley is the brand, & they're pretty cheap)...40mg pills so I take 3 of them. I took them on CD 3-7 and I ovulated on CD 13 so something worked well.

Thanks Pepper73. I got mine at Walmart as well. Not sure of the brand but they are 50mg so I was planning on taking 3 of them at night. Did you find it better to take them at night or in the morning? CD 3-7 seems to be the general census, so it looks like I should start taking them tonight. Hopefully I'll see a peak on my OPK My cycles before m/c were always pretty long (40-60 days) so I'm hoping the pills will help.

I took them in the morning and had zero side effects. I don't think it really matters, but I have read that you should try and take them around the same time every day. Good luck!! I hope they work for you!!

When I did I took 200mg (but I had been on clomid before at 100, so I knew to double it) CD's 3-7.

Good luck!
