I went to OB for a quarterly check up from surgery last year and she gave me samples of prenatal vitamins to try. Can I tell you how shocked I was to see that most of them have 2 pills you have to take. No wonder so many have problems with them. EEEKKKK. I get so sick from a multivitamin that I went with one of them that has only one pill. It is called Concept OB. Is anyone familar with this one? (And I'm happy to say I took it over 2 hours ago right after lunch and I am doing great with it) I'm sure it is a good one or she wouldn't have given it to me but I wonder why they have so many different ones?

I've not seen a 2 pack. The ones I took when TTC and pg was a single pill, and I took it before bed with a snack or glass of milk. I had less tummy upsets that way.

I was taking OTC prenatals from GNC, which were 2 a day. I usually have bad reactions (mainly nausea) from multivitamins if I take them without food, but those prenatals were great and I had zero effects from them. I recently switched to Geritol (one per day)and that says to take it with food, but I have taken it without food and have had no problems. Years ago, when I told my doctor about bad nausea from multivitamins, she suggested that I take children's chewables (like Flintstones) and that helped a lot. Unfortunately, those don't have all the good stuff that prenatals have.

Side note: children's, chewables, & prenatals all got flagged by spellchecker...but Flintstones didn't! LOL!

I haven't heard of those either, but I always have taken a OTC. Right now I'm on the gummy pre-natals from Target. I also take them at bedtime to avoid tummy issues.

Thanks Ladies. I had my OB call in the ones that I tried. Haven't tried the other 4 samples she gave me. I've made sure to eat lunch and then take them and thankfully I have no upset tummy.
