Hi,
Am new here, have been over at the aip board. But alas the answer to AIP? is always no! Haha. Am 38, been trying for a year. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the clear blue easy fertility monitor, I thought I'd give it a whirl.
Thanks!

This is my first cycle using it. I have very irregular cycles so I thought this would help. So far so good. I got my first O indicator today after 23 days. Pretty excited about. My cycles can range anywhere from 40 - 50 days. This cycle I took soy on CD 5-9 and I think that might have helped me O a little sooner. I'm thinking it was worth the investment. I also found it cheaper to buy online at Wal-mart, but knowing what I know now about how it works I wouldn't be against buying a used one.

Great. Haven't heard about soy. Is that via a supplement? I started 100 of b6 last cycle

Soy Iso is used as a substitition for Clomid. It's suppose to help increase the chance of ovulation. I've heard of other ladies taken B6, but I'm not quite sure what it is used for. Is it to increase progesterone?

I've had one for years...it's an amazing asset!
I always bought my test strips off Ebay, and I must stress that if you choose that route, make sure you verify they aren't already expired. That happened once and it totally sucked!!!

Good luck!
Dawna

The b6 is supposed to lengthen your luteal phase

I hate to say this, but I've never really kept track of my LP. I've also not been good at tracking my O, hence the CBEFM. I'm hoping that AF won't show up this time and I won't need to know my LP.

I've never used the CBEFM, but wanted to say hi,welcome and good luck! I hope the monitor works for you so that your next answer to AIP is YES! As for the soy, it has helped me ovulate earlier so I have appreciated that. And, yes, the B6 is supposed to help lengthen your LP. I've had mixed results with that but I don't have an issue with a short LP anyway...I've just had a couple of cycles where it was shorter than usual and wanted to help get it back on track.

How does the length of the LP effect implantation/conception? Isn't amazing anyone is able to get PG at all? CM, right timing, progesterone, estrogen, uterine lining, etc. It's nerve racking!
