DH and I eat a heck of a lot of garlic and chili - and yes everyone stands about 5 feet away from us at all times, LOL.

I had been wondering if garlic and chili were bad for fertility so I googled it this morn and found about a gazillion websites that actually recommend Garlic and Chili for fertility, especially for sperm potency/production.

Some of the info I read: (sorry if I am sharing info you already know, LOL, just wanted to share in case you didn't)

"Garlic has selenium in it, a mineral that may help to reduce the chances of miscarriage in women and that is said to enhance male fertility. It also contains vitamin B6 which regulates hormones and builds your immune system."

"...garlic contains an abundance of fertility boosting nutrients. It's a great source of the mineral selenium which is thought to enhance male fertility"

"chillies (sic) certainly 'spice' things up in the fertility department by increasing the flow of blood around the body, ensuring that the reproductive system gets a healthy supply. Chillies also stimulate endorphin production which means more fertility boosting, stress releasing, happy hormones circulate around your body"

We're a huge garlic family too, so we wouldn't stand to far away from you & your hubby.

This is great info, thanks for sharing.

My hubby takes garlic pills and it helps with his digestion. As far as eating it with foods, he would if I'd let him . It makes him stink so bad he has to sleep on the other side of the bed and for him the lack of, um, lets say "lovin" is apparently not worth it to him. So no, we don't eat it, but it's good information!
