my crazy, malfunctioning body, LOL.... *updating to my previous CD7 post*

Below are photos from the OPK's I took on CD6, 7, 8 and I have added the OPK's from CD9 AND now CD14 which was from last night. I am really wishing I had done the OPK's for CD 10-13 now but the cramps stopped and my cm dried up after CD9 so I assumed I O'd early.

I had very bad cramps most of the day yesterday (CD14) and was feeling waves of nausea which are my indicators for O, however no EWCM just wet feeling. I had 4 OPK tests left so I used one and I was shocked to see that in under a minute it was definitely +. The earlier CD tests took around 3 -4 minutes to reach potential.

So I guess I didn't actually O early, but with the lack of cm now I don't think our BD last night will have been successful.

OPK frustrate the heck out of me, I've never get a postive one, so I'm no help there. But just wanted to mention preseed, I read alot of the post on the TTC board and there have been lots of raves about how it helps with CM and BD and quite a few BFP so since I really have EWCM I'm picking some up hoping it brings me a BFP...maybe it's something to think about trying for you

The OPK's are driving me mad, LOL

I had also seen a few raves about it on JM, but I have not found Pre-seed in any of the stores here. I found a company on the internet that distributes it in South Africa, but they have yet to reply back to me. And I don't really want to do international shipping because the postal service here is a pain in the rear!

OPKs always drove me nuts. They either never gave me a positive, or I got multiple days of positives 7+ the once cycle before I stopped using them. They simply not work for every woman.

As far as the lack of EWCM, just the wet feeling will also work too. Just like with the OPKs, not every woman gets the EWCM. Other the pre-seed, there are some other tips you can possibly try to. Drink lots & lots of fluids, avoid allergy meds that have a decongestant in it. The decongestant will dry everything up, even down there. Mucinex or Robitussen (or generic version)that only contains the drug guaifenesin (an expectorant) will also increase fertile CM for some ladies. I've also heard eating baby carrots, adding B6 vitamin to the mix. There's a slew of other stuff out there too, I personally was leery of adding herbal things since they can interfere with other medication you may be on, and my body reacts strongly to meds in general. A regular strength tylenol will knock me out. But other ladies here on JM have used them with success. I increased my fluids (figured it was good practice anyway as they want you to drink lots of water when pg anyway), stopped my allergy meds, and I tried the Robitussin. Both of those did increase my fertile CM. Once we knew we had to go the IUI route, I stopped the Robitussin as it wasn't needed for me anymore.

Good luck!!! I hope you did manage to catch the O this cycle!!! And yay for not dealing with AF for Christmas now. Me on the other hand, expect her around the 21st/22nd since I'm pretty sure I O'd on the 11th. Boo for me.

Boo on AF for Christmas! Guess I am lucky that she won't be here Christmas but I will probably get a visit from her for New Year, can't win

Not sure if they sell Mucinex or Robitussen here but going to one of the bigger chemists, they might stock it or at least something with the guaifenesin in it.

Thank you for the great advise Becky!

I am officially 1 DPO I guess YAY! Now I can feed my poas addiction next week, he he he.

I have never used a opk, but I can imagine the frustration!

I hope you have a nice two lines waiting for you in two weeks

I use the Clear Blue ovulation prediction kit that gives you the smiley face. Otherwise, all those lines are so dang hard for me to read. Today at lunchtime I felt a little cramping and told my husband...wait a second! I think I'm feeling it! I ran to the bathroom and in minutes got the smiley face. YAY! Was surprised to see it so soon as my daughter was born 6 mo ago and after my son was born it took at least 9 months before I saw it again. Excited to start trying today. And in a few weeks I will use the pregnancy test that says PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT. I have to have it cut and dry. Otherwise it's too confusing for me. lol. GOOD LUCK! I hope all goes well!
