Hi There! I feel like I know everyone somewhat as I've been stalking this board for about a year (though I hate to say "stalking" on a board about kids/babies). I've decided 2012 is our year for baby #2. I've been a member of Just Mommies since around when my DS was born (he'll be 6 in a couple of months). I originally figured we'd have 2 kids in the magical "3 Year Window", but things didn't quite work out that way (we had lots of fun with the economy, which wasn't very fun at all).

Finally things have leveled out & I'm hopeful this is our year. I hope to actively start trying to conceive in the Spring, but am still working on getting my SO entirely on board. He's most of the way there now, but should be all the way now.

We're currently in the not trying/not preventing category. I'm keeping track of my cycles, but they've been wonky my whole life, so they aren't much help.

I'll be 37 in a couple of months so I'm concerned (more than a little) about how this will go, but I'm trying to be hopeful. Hope to get to know everyone in the future & get all the terms figured out!

GL to you both on TTC. I really am hoping my SO gets on board soon, I know he thinks it will just happen right away if we start trying, but I'm working on convincing him that's not usually the way it will go. At least he seems open now at this point.

I had my first when I was 39, started TTC when he was 6 months old, but it took us a while to get our sticky baby.

welcome I just came back to jm.. after a long needed break.. I will be 39 next month dh will be 44 been ttc our 4th for 2 years now. struggling with PCOS just found out 2 weeks ago and hubby always being gone so its hit and miss most the time.. good luck

PCOS can be a pain. (((hugs))) I also deal with that. If you haven't checked it out yet, there is a great TTC w/PCOS board here on JM to.

ya it can be I go back and forth between these 2..Im an older mom with PCOS LOL

PCOS can affect ladies of all ages, there's some great ladies on that board too who are also "older" like we are. I hope AF shows for you soon so you can get things started. Good luck!!

The 2nd week of the 2WW was always the worst for me.

You are right on with that comment! I am 8dpo today and today is the first day where I can't stop thinking about it. at. all. Horrible. But even worse for me is testing too early and being super disappointed with a bfn. Ugh.
