How did you find JM?

Just curious as to how we all found our way to JM.

For me, it was back in 2008 when we were first TTC and I was having my long erratic/wonky cycles. I was googling trying to find a reason and researching TTC tips and stumbled across JM. I lurked for a little while, and then joined and started posting. All the great ladies here helped me keep my sanity during our TTC struggles and I honestly don't know how I would have handled things without the support.

I got surprised by a pregnancy I never thought would happen. We were keeping it a secret and I desperately needed to figure out what to do. I had a rough pregnancy, and the research I did into my symptoms and all of what I was experiencing in private led me to JM.

in Jan 2006 I was newly pg with my rainbow baby (nolan) and I was scared to death and googled pg and JM turned up--and I never left

Last year, I was googling for information on TTC over 40. I ended up at JM and lurked for a while, until I learned the "lingo" then started posting here at TTCOM

I love hearing how we all found JM. And over the past few years, I've been a member, I've learned so much about TTC, pg, parenthood, different parts of the world, just a little of everything. It's amazing that we all can connect this way.

JM and the ladies here are really cool! I have also learned so much here. Every morning when I get into work the first place I log into is JM, LOL. JM takes preference over FB for me

I'm starting to use FB more, but I prefer JM over FB too.

I found JM when I found out I was pregnant with my son. I became more active when he was around a year old.

I just found JM and joined after I lurked for a only a few hours. I have looked at other sites and this one just seemed user friendly.
I have no idea what I am getting myself into...but it is nice to have some nice ladies to obsess with!

Susan!! I'm glad you found JM and our great board here. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Between all of us, we've been through just about every scenario so we can offer tips, advice, and someone to talk to, vent to, etc.

I remember that feeling, and then feeling overwhelmed getting all sorts of info at one time.

I went back and found my first post. It was in September 2008, roughly three months after we got married. I was a few weeks shy of my 37th birthday and panicking because we hadn't gotten pregnant yet. I went searching for some sort of reassurance that there were other people going through the monthly struggles of TTC, especially as someone older. I found the OM ladies and I have been here ever since.

Hi ladies! I'm actually a newbie to this community, but not to JM. I found JM back in 2010 when I found out that I was pg and wanted to track my progress, however the little blessing didn't survive past 8 weeks. Ever since I've been frantically TTC. I say frantically because I "thought" 40 year olds did not get pg. Ha! How wrong I was! You ladies have offered me sooo much hope and Im so excited that I'm not alone in my quest of TTC.

You are definitely not alone, and I hope you don't have too wait much longer.
