I will be 35 next month.

I am ttc my fourth and last. I have three kids from a previous marriage.

My husband is over 40 and no biological children.

I thought I was done and my husband loves my kids like his own.

I definitely don't feel like I did when i was 23-24 starting to ttc my first. My body and how I think are completely different.

Yeah, medically speaking, 35 and older is considered "Advanced Maternal Age" I had my first baby at 34, my 2nd at 35 and ttc our 3rd now at 36. I certainly don't feel like I did when I was in my 20's. I don't think the same....nothing is the same! lol Older and wiser, I think. Good luck!!

Ahhh, you're still a baby :-)!! But, unfortunately, in the medical world, you are heading into the "advanced maternal age" category. Best of luck to you!!

Unfortunately you will have that AMA label with the doctors. I hated it too. I hope you don't have to wait long to welcome #4 & I look forward to getting to know you.

Welcome!

I have never had the "advanced maternal age" or extra testing. So it's possible. We pay 100% of our health care costs, so we cut out anything not really necessary. We do a 20 week ultasound and a diabetes check but that's about it.

Good luck!

Welcome!! and good luck! I've been labeled both times as AMA with my pregnancies. It's annoying on one hand, but nice to get all the extra attention on the other.
