We had to get pregant quick because of insurance issues, and here is what we did. I am 36 and DH is 41.

Fertile CM supplement three times per day
Baby and Me prenatals four times per day
Fish oil once per day
Drank lots of water and avoided antihistamines
No dairy at all in either of our diets
Made DH take a gummy multivitamin

Started OPK day after AF, and checked twice per day. Still DTD twice per week just to be sure. When I thought I was getting close to O, we DTD every other day. We DTD the day before my first +OPK, then the day of the second +OPK, DTD the day OPK turned negative. I made sure I had an orgasm and propped my hips up on a pillow for 15 minutes after DTD.

Hope this helps you all!

Here is my BFP progression. They started out super light, so don't give up!

first and formost congrats.. and second i had a question on the fish oil.. I was just told I had PCOS cause my fh was 6.5 wich was normal but my lh was 17.9.. but she did the test mid cycle... I read that fish oil was good for pcos are there any side affect I should be worried about and does it upset your belly in anyway,,? truth be told I have a phobia of taking pills even if its good for me lol.. but that another day...
really hoping it might help.

I take a fish oil that is mercury free. It is a big pill, but it doesn't bother my stomach. A good friend has PCOS, and had todo IVF to get pregnant. She quit eating dairy and now has an oopsie baby!

I started taking the supplements before we started TTC. You can get Fertile CM at Early Pregnancy Tests and Ovulation Predictor Kits for Home Use

You and your dh are the same ages as us. Did you have any trouble ttc your son? (took us 4 years for our daughter, so just wondering). I've heard full fat dairy is great for fertility. I'm going to look into the non-dairy thing. Thanks for the info

First, That's awesome!

DH and I are close in age to you guys too (37 & 40). It took us seven months to get PG with our DS who is now 5 and desperately wants a sibling!

We expected it to take much longer this time, but it shocked us when it only took 2 cycles! What we did:

I took folic acid, flaxseed oil (that I'm now discontinuing because supposedly it can cause preterm labor), and a multi-vitamin. DH didn't take anything.
We BD just about every single day, not just at O time, but the whole cycle just in case - and on the few days we missed, it was at least every other day.
We BD in the morning around o time, which we rarely do anymore lol.
I also made sure to O (not ovulate lol), but didn't do the hip propping, just tried to not move and go to sleep.
I got PG within 2 cycles of going off the pill and supposedly that can be a contributing factor.
Good luck everyone!!!
