When I remember or am forced by dire threats from hairy manbeast. I had gone 5 years between visits the year before my TR.

The most between visits was 4 years, after my 6 week check-up when DD was born, I didn't go back until last year

My first visit back was last year January, and this coming January I already have my appointment booked - guess it is kind of my New Years resolution now, LOL

Good for you Laura. Maybe I should follow suit. My mom has been pushing me to get a mammagram done for years, we have a high rate of breast cancer in the family. I tell her I am so small if anything was growin in there I'd notice!

Oooh Ladies, please go every year!!!! And now in the states they have new pap smears so you get that done every 3 years, but you still need a yearly checkup. And starting at 40, Mammograms every year.

In uk we are meant to go every 3 years but I forgot and only last year had my smear after 5 years . They don't check the boobs till we 50 over here ! Unless you find something.iv got to be careful with bowl cancer as iv the gene .my mum .my grandmother.and uncle all had it. My nan and uncle died from it . My mum had it at 58 and was one lucky lady. She been cancer free for 2 years .I think we should all get checked for bowl cancer too.

They do a 5yr pap test here for HPV, which is one of the leading causes of cervical cancer. You are still expected to go annualy for a general pap to check for any other abnormalities. My dr hasn't mentioned mammogram, so not sure what the suggested age for that is?
