A little about me: 38 years YOUNG, happy wife and mom of two kids, and we're looking to add to our family; we're still open to adoption, but as my OBGYN just gave me a green light on my 'advanced age' (he SO laughs at that--he says most of his patients fall in the 36-44 range and has NO problems with that!) and so here's to trying for baby #3. I just don't like telling many folks as I really detest the thoughtless comments---"Oh, aren't you too OLD for that?!?"---"Why would you want a baby NOW?!?"---"I'd hate to have a baby now--I love my social life!!!" Well sheesh, to each their darn own--best wishes, blessings and baby dust to all of you!!!

I have to say it's VERY nice to see ages around mine...does that sound ignorant? I never ever thought of my 30's as 'old' or a burden---yet I know SO many, not even counting TTC, who think they're over some proverbial hill and I'm like "HUUUUH?!?" I guess I'm missing something, and quite frankly, that's probably a GOOD thing

no hun you dont sound ignorant , just normal like the rest of us lol ,i sometimes think its other people that are just judgemental and ignorant i call them sheeppeople (ppl who have to folllow the norm and not think out side the box ,for them selves)

i dont feel old at 39 well 40 in june ,i feel young still and tbh i act young my kids like a mad mum they have said ,and thats due to the fact i can still have a laugh with my kids not just be a old mum ,its a matter of thinking young , i dont feel much different then i did in my 30s .so def dont act like it .

as long as we are all still having periods we still o ing then we not to old to child bare thats a fact ,and why not in deed ,

sorry i do like to rant ,i normally leave that for fb tho lol .

Oh age is definitely just a number

I'm 43, and will be 44 this September - I want to be pg before I turn 44, but I am pretty headstrong so if not successful I am pretty sure I will still be TTC when I turn 45, 46, 47 LOL
