Hey, that's awesome we are almost cycle buddies. I am on day 6. Only 1 day behind you. I also O about day 13. DH already knows that this is going to be a BD month. One of our best friends just had a baby. We have baby fever more than ever.

I am glad we are at the same time of the cycle. Feels like I can hold your hand and go through it together.

I was reading on the TTC with MA board. They have a sticky for the ladies that graduated and how they got there. Everything I read was basically lots of BD.

I think we will start out every other day and when it gets close to O every day. I don't know if I can do 2x/day. I am not 20 anymore.

Edit: Crap I don't O on Day 13. I just checked. It should be day 17 (Jan 24).

Good luck ladies - my FX'd you get your O and bd timed perfectly!

I am on CD23, I know nothing more, LOL. I was so bad this cycle, didn't do one single temp, did not track cm or cp and only bd'd twice. So pretty sure this month is a bust, but thankful for the impromptu TTC break

Currently on CD6. Trying something new this cycle & hopefully (fingers crossed) BDing Thursday-Monday. We'll see what happens as my SO is notorious for getting sick/being tired when he's supposed to BD.

TTC is so awful. Staring at the calendar, wishing time away. Waiting to O, waiting to test.

I am 9 DPO and got a BFN today. I am having second thoughts about starting back at the Fertility Specialist next cycle. I am so tired to this.

Lol, we did the twice a day thing this month around O. It was terrible after the first day. It was like when I was in labor with DS and not progressing. The midwife left us to have sex to get things moving along. All I could think was "hurry up and get this over with!"

So we are also cycle buddies. Cool. I know what you mean with SO getting sick. We usually have a fight when we need to BD. LOL.

How things have changed. Used to yearn to DTD and not get enough of it. Nowadays it's more like a chore. Thanks for sharing "get this over with" , LOL.

Just found out another friend is pretty pregos. Halfway through the pregnancy already. I had no clue.

We better DTD a lot this cycle!

yay i got girls as buddies this one too , thats great helps to go through it together the ttc thing becomes a rollacoster waiting to o ,the two week wait tests ,ups and down we can hold each other up be positive and stick it out together ,

as for bd ing i did the once a day last mth and got a bfn ,so im going for twice a day this time ,see if that helps , thats if we dont row over it ,or he gets ill , or we just bored with bd for ttc when it should be a happy loving fun thing ,

but i can always tie him to the bed gagged and hop on and off as needed lol

I am on CD12 and still waiting to O. I finally got a faint pink line on my OPK today; the past couple of days it was stark white. I am planning on testing again this evening and see if my line gets any darker! I did get my dh to bd this morning and he also surprised me by taking the day off. I am hoping I can coax him into bd againg tonight

GL ladies!! I really hope this is our month to get 's!!

Sending baby to all

Good Luck Girls! If you get a chance BD in the morning or afternoon the day before and day of O. We BD'd 7 times in 5 days last cycle. 3 times on O day. Excessive? Maybe. But it worked

Sending you all tons of dust!!!

Hey Celine - Not too many symptoms. Nausea pretty bad today, but most of the time, it's like I'm waiting for AF. Same thing happened with my son, 100 years ago.

Vicky, Both times I have conceived in the past 6 mos, was when we DTD several times on O day. I will say this though, this last time was the only time I got a TRUE positive on my OPKs. The time before, I got a semi-dark line on the opk, but it never got as dark as the control. Most months I didn't get any line at all, but I know I Od because I get my period every 23 days.

I really believe that as we get older, the eggs don't last as long so instead of 24 hours, we have maybe 12 or 10. I have ZERO scientific evidence to back that up. But knowing how many months/years it took for many of us to get pregnant, it seems like the window of opportunity has to be hit just right.

Either way, I'm wishing you all tons of luck! I know you will get your BFPs!

Lelila, glad you feel good and you are enjoying your pregnancy.

I can see the eggs getting "old" and being less viable than from a 20 year old. Makes total sense. Thanks for the advice.

I have a hurdle to deal with. Our DD ends up in our bed every night. She starts out in her crib but then she comes trotting over in the early am or even midight. And of course she sleeps between us.

We were always very firm about DS staying in his bed. I always said to him "Have a good sleep and I will see you in the morning." Even though he's almost 7, I still say it every night when I get him off to bed. He rarely wakes up in the night but when he does, I always walk him back to his bedroom, tuck him in and sit on his bed for about 5 min.

We have special occasions when he can cuddle with us, but we always explain that it is a special occasion.

I have a 3 year old who gets in our bed too .between 2 and 3 am. Almost every night. I get to tired and lazy so don't put her back to her own bed. My own fault.lol. But she will grow out of it . All my others have been fine . But I must admit she is spoilt rotten .mostly by my teen kids .

I should bring her back to bed. But I am so tired when I get woken up in the middle of the night. Yeah, it's my own fault that she is in our bed.

So the pineapple is ripe now! Grrrr. I cut it up yesterday and put it in the fridge and bought another pineapple. DH was like "Another pineapple?" "Oh yeah they are full of Vitamins and they are on sale right now."
Lesson learned: Don't buy the pineapple 2 weeks before O. Buy 1 week before O.

I looked for OPK in our grocery store but they didn't have any. Just pregnancy sticks. I will have to venture out again to get the tests.

Did any of you O yet?
