So my nurse finally called me today to give me my official results from my HSG procedure. The good news is that my tubes are clear like the dr who performed the procedure told me. The bad news is that they saw what they think is a polyp on my cervix. The nurse said if that is what I have then it is acting as an IUD and keeping my dh's sperm from reaching my eggs

I am supposed to call them when af comes (Supposed to be Jan 29) and I will have to go in for an ultrasound. I am not sure what the procedure is to remove it but the way she talked, they wanted to do the ulstrasound before I O'd so it wouldn't interfere with it.

I am glad that they are finding out what is wrong with me and why I can't get pregnant BUT now I already feel like I am out this cycle and I possibly just O'd on Tue or Wed of this week!

IF this is what is wrong with me and they get rid of the polyp, hopefully I can surprise my dh with a BFP for his bday in Feb

Well I hope you don't have that but if you do, it sounds like they can remove it.

I am not sure what procedure is to remove it. Maybe someone else will know.
Good luck.

Sorry they found something. If it is indeed a polyp that is preventing you to get pregos it is so great that the found it now. After that is taken care of you will definitely get your BFP.

I haven't had experiences with polyps. But I read that they pull the poly and clip it at the gyn. Supposedly, quick and painless. Hope it's nothing more than that. And yeah for the tubes being clear.
