Welcome Jam, I know a few people who have PCOS I'm sorry you are dealing with that. I know a few people who were successful with acupuncture. Anything is worth trying Good luck!

Hi Jam and I was diagnosed with PCOS in 1998, took me a few years to get pg but with the help of very good dr's I do have 2 children. Stay strong and also visit the TTC-With PCOS board, the ladies there have a lot of great advice on things to do to help with TTC when you have PCOS.

Mom 2 Avery, I am right there with you.
[QUOTE=Hopingforonemore;27021443]I'd like to ask a few question so I can get to know you all better and you me. I'll start. Here are the questions. I answered below.
1. What is your age? I am 48
2. Do you have children already?I have a 24 year old daughter and husband has a7 year old son. Hoping for a first together.
3. If so how long since your last pregnancy?m/c July 16, 2012 at 11 weeks
4. How long have you been TTC?since April 2012
5. Are you dealing with fertility issues also? And if so what are they? Husband has low T and gets monthly shots for this
We did 3 months of clomid starting in October with one round of IUI. We took a couple of months off trying to relax a bit and now we are ready to start again.

This is my first post here in a couple of years. I hope to be officially back in the game after our RE appt next month.
1. What is your age? 38 DH (44)
2. Do you have children already? 1 DS (8)
3. If so how long since your last pregnancy? 8 years
4. How long have you been TTC? Trying on and off for 7 years
5. Are you dealing with fertility issues also? And if so what are they? YES. Completely Annovulatory (no period in 4 years). PCOS. IR. Now Type 2 Diabetes.
Last check 4 years ago DH had great numbers but morphology was a little low.
Currently on 1500mg Met plus 5mg each Rampril and Crestor (for high BP and Cholesterol thanks to the diabetes)
Working on weightloss. Down 23 pounds from my highest (12 of that lost since joining WW in mid Jan). Have a looooong way to go still.
I have just gotten a referral to a new RE. Saw my last RE 4 years ago after doing a round of injectibles.
That's me in a nut shell. Crazy scared to start this journey again. Desperately want another baby yet terrified of trying again and it not happening.
