I don't go to any of the other threads on this site much, as the ladies here have shown to be so nice , so I'm posting here.

My cycles have since 15 been fairly regular, but after my 2nd child, my cycle has done (what I think) is the oddest thing: AF will visit for say 2 days, stop for 1-1.5 days, and then come back for another day or so---I'm having interrupted cycles and it's getting more pronounced as of late. So, before I call my OB, I wanted to know if I'm just making a big deal out of nothing, can anyone else relate---or do I have a totally weird thing going on and I should make an appt pronto? I'm not in pain, my cycles feel 'normal' otherwise...

Again, please forgive me if this is , I thought this morning 'why don't I ask the nice ladies on JM?'

Thank you in advance!

I have had that problem before as well. It happened after I had my 2nd child and a tubal. But now that I have had my tubal reversal it has got a lot better. I would still bring it up to your dr if I was you though because it could possibly be a hormonal issue. I don't know that for certain because I never talked to my dr about it because I wasn't trying to get pg at the time. I did just find out last month though that I am low on Progesterone. I hope it turns out to not be a big deal or a problem with you being able to conceive!

I'd say talk to your Dr. I am not sure, I've never experienced it. Could be nothing but it could be something. Better safe than sorry.

Thank you ALL ladies---I will call today and make an appt with my doctor.

Progesterone---NEVER would have even thought of that!!!

Ordinarilly, this would not bug me...or that this cycle, it seems I'm going to have a 2 day visit from AF---but when we're wanting to still add to our family, I better get checked out. Thanks so very much!

My cycle has always been like that 2 days on, 2 days off and then 1 day on. I don't think it's anything to worry about, but like everyone else said if you are concerned it can't hurt to ask your Dr. Good luck!

OMGOSH--THANK YOU!!!! I made an appt for March 1---and the receptionist didn't sound concerned--but it IS nice to hear from someone who experiences this and that it has not been a major issue! Thank you so much!

I do that too sometimes. I will have 2 day AF then skip a day and then one more AF day on day 4. I do that probably 6 times a year. My RE tells me it's nothing.

Good luck
